Extremely popular with scuba divers and snorkelers alike, this site is a Key Largo legend. Visitors will marvel at the famous Christ of the Abyss statue, beautiful brain coral formations and plenty of tropical sea life, like barracuda and snapper.

Molasses Reef (15-55 ft. deep)

Abundant with sea life, this reef is the dream for divers and snorkelers, alike. Visitors can observe grouper, snapper, angelfish and barracuda, as well as the occasional turtle, ray and even shark.

French Reef (25-100 ft. deep)

Truly a sight to be seen, this reef is characterized by mini-caves, overhangs and swim-throughs, where moray eels, snapper and grouper call home.

The Elbow (10-35 ft. deep)

Often called “Wreck Reef,” visitors can view the remains of the City of Washington ship wreck, as well as angelfish, snapper and tropical coral formations.

The Duane and Bibb (70-150 ft. deep) / Spiegel Grove (60-130 ft.) / Eagle Wreck (75-120 ft.)

Suitable for intermediate to advanced divers due to the depth and occasional stiff currents, wreck enthusiasts will love diving these artificial reefs born from planned ship sinkings. Observe large fish like amberjack, barracuda, goliath grouper and cobia. Some wrecks even permit advanced divers to go inside the vessels themselves.
